Working Together for the Texas of Tomorrow.

District 76 Main Office

The best time to build a plan was 20 years ago. The SECOND-BEST time is now.

Lea C.S. Simmons

The Right Choice to Unite Texans

Additional Information and Current Press Release for March 3, 2026, Republican Primary Election

I am reaching out to you after a very busy year. My team and I want to personally thank you for your votes in the last three election cycles during the 2024 Presidential Election year. Let me further explain where my time has been spent and where we plan to continue going from here.

Since my first announcement of my election on October the 11, 2024, I have been diligently working to learn how to take better care of my beloved District, which has been my home for my entire life, and moving forward, I will always be here to stand strong for all of you. The first time that I ran, I was excited, and ready to take on life's challenges. As a first-time Candidate, I never imagined that I would be ten votes behind my future Republican Primary Run-off opponent after the March 5th Republican Primary took place last year. The second time that I ran, I won by 67% during the May 28th Republican Primary Run-off. I left my two opponents wondering how I survived two previous battles before advancing to the November 5th, 2024, General Election. Believe me, I was even surprised myself. My female Muslim, Republican, Primary Run-off opponent gave it her all, and like me, she was not a politician, but she strongly believed in her religion, and the right to protect the children of Fort Bend County. Never- the- less, she went about it the wrong way by attacking the very system that she vowed to protect, to also criticizing me and my family, as well by pulling the race card, and trying to endanger my family and I in the process.

Now this new election cycle is completely different. One opponent has refused to repeat my name in public, who I in the past considered to be my friend and ally, which I will further explain, while my second opponent never shows himself in public, despite calling himself a current Republican Precinct Chair. These two Republican opponents, despite being loyal to the Fort Bend County Republican Party, filed against me at the very last minute. I was even presumed unopposed by my previous Christian, Republican, Primary opponent from 2024, who even called to congratulate me. I was hurt by the in-house fighting that started towards me since then, but I have moved on to build my brand, and now I am still here to fight the good fight. My female Republican, Muslim opponent from last year was a reference from a male Muslim, Republican Candidate running for Fort Bend County Sheriff who was a closet Democrat, while my Christian opponent was referred to the Fort Bend County Republican Party by my close Republican friends to run because they knew him from the very church that they go to with him. As you can see, I am a very forgiving person that believes in second chances because I am now friends with that very same Christian opponent, who helped me during the last 2024, November 5th General Election cycle. We all make mistakes in life, but I am also like they say, a work in progress.

I truly am not surprised in being challenged by two insider Republicans again, but this time they referred themselves, despite their knowledge that I would run again. One is someone that has worked all her life to build a brand of entitlement and is part of the establishment by having been the previous Fort Bend County Republican Chairwoman and the President of the Fort Bend Women's Republican Club, who has been obsessed with removing me and any non-Asian Republican Candidate since 2021, calling them divisive and nondiverse, who so happens to go to the same church that my family and I have been attending and serving loyally for the past twenty years.

As a previous Precinct Chair myself, I voted her in thinking that she would unite us, while the other opponent is someone that I never heard of before, who is a Precinct Chair that is stepping down to run against me, without having attended not one Executive Committee meeting, but despite this is aware that I am running for the same office twice after garnering over 30,000 votes. I digress and believe that I am the winner by default, as I am the previous Republican Nominee for 2024.

To continue, I also have a Democratic challenger that doesn't even live in District 76, who has cheated twice to win and beat the very system that he supposedly vows to protect, even after he ran away when the fight was not in his favor during the time frame of the Texas Congressional map. His family secretly called him a Republican in my presence last year at the polling locations, while also even following me around, to even silencing me in front of voters. It got so bad, that the police citated his wife and his team twice, while she continued to help her husband to taunt me and other Candidates. My Democratic incumbent opponent even paid a Democratic volunteer from the Patel team to harass me, all the while his wife pushed me in the parking lot, when I did nothing wrong to her. By simply running to replace her husband, she was on the offense. Currently Governor Abbott is trying to remove him from his seat. We must prevail this time to remove him once and for all by disqualifying him from ever running again.

We are so much better than this, but Fort Bend County is, and we will work together to make changes from having bad leadership to also a sense of entitlement on both sides of the aisle. I am a unifier, and not a person that wants to divide the system in half. We must work together and not tear each other down when it better suits us. Should I be elected, I will stop the Campaign Bullying Tactics and unnecessary negativity that comes with it, to also creating better election integrity. Just by removing in-house fighting, to also ceasing and desisting fake identification from the presumed Republican Candidates that run on the wrong side of the aisle that have bad intentions, we must not forget to also include Candidates that live in the wrong District at best. Stricter voting guidelines and closed Primaries are part of my goals to commence in the following time frame of my hopeful victory.

My mission as a loyal Republican and a good friend to the Fort Bend County Republican Party and to the Fort Bend Republican Women's Club is to help them get out the vote and to also end in-house fighting for good in Fort Bend County, all the way to the Texas Capitol. If you vaguely remember, the same thing happened in Austin when the Democrats ran away. As a collective, they received money from George Soros and Beto O'Rourke, aka, Robert Francis. Whatever his name is, he is not a good person.

I am confident in my ability to win, and I will not stop until I do. We cannot give up on each other because no one is perfect. I trust in my heart's actions and believe that I won again by default because my Democrat opponent paid people at the last minute to pack the parking lot. As I previously said, we are so much better than this. I vow to also end Campaign Bribery Lobbying during an election cycle, and I also believe in ending blind trust in Candidates that are not legal and legitimate enough contenders while breaking the law at the same time, which is still ongoing to this day.

My goals for District 76 are to bring back family and local businesses. I want to also highlight the infrastructure of declining street safety and constant traffic jams that hinder the flow of streets and highways, to ongoing problems of wrecks and lack of pedestrian crossings for ongoing walkers and bicycle routes that facture from too many highways and potholes, but to also not enough rest stops and parks. We must also protect all children that are going to school in the mornings and arriving back home from school in the daytime because of morning traffic and daily traffic routines.

My other concern is weak public and workplace internet protection and at home. Cyberbullying is real and we must protect those that don't know how to protect themselves. Identity is not addressed enough, and it needs to end.

Lower school, business, church, and property tax will be major concerns of mine, as well as creating Texas health insurance for all legal Texans and diminishing pension regulations that are too federalized.

My Democratic incumbent opponent is too busy pretending to have created solutions for everyday common problems.

I am also concerned about the homeless and human trafficking, to also the lack of concern for humanitarian causes that include roaming and helpless animals. There are too many to count and I will be looking for ways to unite communities to create more pet shelters. I will be searching for the support to return wildlife safely back to safe havens and woodsy habitats.

I want to introduce the Stay-at-Home Workforce Initiative for all Texans that have hectic schedules to also people that want to stay at home or just take care of loved ones. It will also include a Home Healthcare Plan. The other plan for better Healthcare is Retirement Healthcare for all ages, so that it will not interfere with Medicare and Medicaid. I will be working on better Life Insurance and Health Insurance, to even be including an affordable version of Property Insurance for all levels of society and dwelling status, so to be able to use the insurance to fix and protect one's own home.

I am a common sense and compassionate Candidate that understands District 76 because I go through all of this myself. You will be able to see much more of me on Facebook, my two websites, LinkedIn, on YouTube, and during town hall meetings. I will also be building a small podcast, talking with you in person at my offices or at a local coffee shop, over the phone, and over Zoom meetings. I am currently also working on creating my mailbox addresses and creating a logo that will be used during the Campaign.

My team and I are working every day to get to know the communities and to build up a group of volunteers and interns, to also have in the creative process separate projects that will help us raise our own money. I owe money to no one, and I am proud to self-funded. I am only reaching out to my Republican Run-off voters because without you, I would not have made it to the November 5th, 2024, General Election. Despite not winning last time, I am going to run again. I cannot wait to see you at the polls next year, March 3rd, 2026. Early voting starts February 17th and ends on February 20, 2026.

Sincerely,

Lea C.S. Simmons
